V&A Museum and a visit to Kensington Palace for tea at the Orangery!

Today, we visited the Queen Victoria and Albert museum. Let me tell you, you will need to save plenty of time for this museum. We were in there for about 2 or 3 hours and only made it through a small part of it. Another great part about this museum is that is was FREE! There are several extra exhibits that you can pay for inside, if you wish. I really enjoyed looking at the new 17th and 18th century European collections.

After the V&A museum, we headed to Kensington Palace to look at the gardens and have afternoon tea. The place we had afternoon tea at was called the Orangery. It was kind of difficult to find the place, but we were relieved once we arrived. The china that our food was served on was so beautiful and the area in which we ate was clean and beautiful. We got to sip at our tea while looking out at the gardens of Kensington. We enjoyed tea sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and jam, and small sweets.
